Project: Triggers, Timescales, and Volatile Controls in Long-Lived Silicic Magma Reservoirs: A Comparative Study of the Ciomadul Volcanic Complex (Romania) and Mammoth Mountain (CA, USA).
The project investigates long-lived silicic magma reservoirs through comparative study of Ciomadul and Mammoth Mountain, with emphasis on volatile budgets, apatite trace-element and isotopic compositions, mineral-scale petrology, and diffusion chronometry.
